    Default 6/23-6/24 American Report

Pretty slow this past weekend. Here's my numbers:
    Fri: 5
    Sat: 6
    Sun: 4
Most people wading the upper river except for the bobber guys didn't fare too well. Some of the boats were knocking 'em dead but you had to be in the right slot. Even Bob Sparre had trouble putting his clients into large numbers of fish. Oh well, be out there again tonight. Jeff C.

Last night was my first time scouting the upper section this year.
I was above the row of spin fishermen, and only hooked 6 fish in three hours. Has it been that crowded the past few weeks? What about weekdays?

Last night was one of the least crowded night I've seen the past couple of weeks. I can be a zoo even on weekday evenings. Last Tues was crazy with 12 boats and 75 guys wading into addition to the drinkers around the boat launch area. It seemed like it was the 4th of July. The next day no one around, so quiet and peaceful it was surreal. You never know what it's going to be like until you show up. Jeff C.
