Road 48 --Thursday 6/14

I got to fish Road 48 with two women from my club (GWWF) Thursday. We got there at about 1:00 pm. One nice hen was caught right off and then not even a strike between the three of us...until about 7:00 pm. At about that time, as the line up formed (7 of us), all hell broke loose and we all caught fish until dark. The hot fly was a wet pinky.

It was interesting to note that the only folks fishing were flyfishers. Makes me think that the owner may be limiting access to folks he believes will keep it clean. I think it is a good compromise on what had become a major problem for the owner. Anne
