Default Calgary Area fly fishing info?

I am planning a trip to Calgary with some buddies in late July/eary August and have had a hard time finding a lot of info on the fishing in that area.

We plan to hit the Red Deer and Bow with guides, but from the few articles I have found, there seems to be a number of other waters to hit. We're going for a week camping so we need to entertain ourselves on a Walk/Wade basis for the rest of the trip...

Anyone have any experience/info on the area? Good resources for trip planning?

I was hoping to find the equivalent of the Nor Cal Fly Fishing guidebook and the Delorme map for Alberta...no such luck so far...

    Many thanks,
    Jason

I have fished the Bow Anad although its great, I love the area a couple of hours southwest of Calgary (or about hour from the Bow) - you can fish the best water, Elk & Wigwam Rivers- plus the Crowsnest on the drive over and several rivers and streams (small rivers) around Fernie, BC

her is a link to the best guide in the Fernie area (also guides the Bow), but look at the descriptions of the diff waters and search on each for more info. I know there is a BC fishing guide, but cant remember the name.
