    Default No Yuba Shad

Our fly club, the E.C.Powell Flyfishers had a shad fishout at Hallwaood this past Saturday.

Number of fisherman 15-20. Number of shad caught 0 !!!!!!!.

They just aren't going up the Yuba this year probably because of the lack of water. At the mouth you can almost walk from Marysville to Yuba City without getting your butt wet. ?Almost?

There are lots of shad at Shanghai Bend and at Verona.

Somebody said there were some Steelhead and Stripers in the lower Yuba River below Daguerre Dam?

Could be a few Spring-run Salmon too?
