Thread: Hex hatch for Lake Almanor this year?

    I didn't read any other posts to see if your question was already answered so sorry if this is redundant but I was just told today by a person who has a cabin up there that the hatch is ON right now! Bring your float tube/pontoon and fish right at sunbreak and sundown.

    The Hex mayfly comes off in more place than we realize in West.

    I guess it's right at sunset in most places.
