    Default Weekend American Report

Here's the shad count for the 3 day weekend:

    Sat: 15
    Sun: 13
    Mon: 8

Most were caught in the upper A. Got chased out of my favorite spot by spin bobber guys that showed up and started casting over my line. I went downstream and only got a couple of bumps so I bailed. Jeff C.

    Default American Shad

Hate to give it away guys and girls, but I caught a few at lower Sunrise where the lower Shad hole used to be (before it filled in with higher flows the last couple of years) Talk to Chuck at the shop. A buddy and I did pretty well there.

Thanks for the details Mike N

That helps me to be more close to right in my recommendations to new Shad chasers.

Sounds like the fish might be scattered out through the river?

    Thanks Mike

With the river at 1500 cfs I guess a type 3 sinkrate is about average?

Do you think early and late in the day is best?
