    Default McCloud & Pit Rivers

I would head there now if you are looking for good fishing.

Fall River and Hat Creek are good bets too.

Upper Sac is a few weeks away.

Heard Truckee was starting early too.

I would get lots of stream fishing in this year before the 4th of July because it will get low and clear fast after that.

    Bill,

Runoff is starting on the Truckee. Watch flows, runoff should be short but I expect water temps to drop as the snow melts off. Right now the river is cloudy on the nevada side and flows have jumped dramatically. Just be sure to w be prepared to head over to the little truckee or local lakes if the main river is blown. Fishing should be good in June this year.
