    Default New/Old Material...???

You guys have probably already thought about it or used it but I discovred last night that flexible sleeves, used in electronics to cover bundles of wiring, comes in a wide variety of sizes and colors. Looks a lot like E-Z Body Braid or Corsair but comes in a wider variety of colors/sizes.

I'm gonna try it out and will report on what I find.....

    Default Fly Tying Materials....

Bob,.... I've experimented with the flexible sleeves mentioned and found the filaments used to construct the sleeves is much thicker than corsair but only slightly thicker than E-Z Body Braid. I wouldn't consider using it on small flies but it looks OK for Striper/saltwater patterns.... Hmmmm, come to think of it, there may be some sleeves with thinner walled mterials there too. If you try some of it, let me know what you think....
