Default Oh No...Snow! Truckee vs. Rubicon for next week?

I planned my first trip of the year for next week up at the Truckee and Little T, until yesterday's storm dumped 3-4 feet. What are the chances the rivers will be fishable/accessable by mid next week?

Or, would a trip to the Rubicon be more productive? Does the Ruby fall under the new regs as being a leg of the American?

Or...would you recommend somewhere else within 2 hours of Sacto to hit?

Thanks in advance for any words of wisdom.

    - Rick.

This storm did not dump 3-4 feet of snow.We received 8-10" in Calpine(33 miles north of Truckee) and Tahoe Donner got around 18".With warmer temps this new snow will be gone in a day or so.We lost over half of the new snow yesterday alone and it wasn't all that warm.
Go fish the Truckee and have a great time!

    3-4 feet!!!

I think you're mistaken. The Truckee should be ok, I just checked the flows...good to go.

    Default Thanks guys!

Thanks for the report. I woke to a KCRA report from Blue Canyon that showed all that snow. That'll serve me for trusting the news.
