I'm not posting this in saltwater cuz I want as many people to see as possible but, I would like to organize a trip to San Diego around July for some in-shore fishing. We dont need guides and I can find out about boat rentals when we have an estimate of how many people.

I might be able to join you depending on the dates.
If your group comes down or back up the 101, I can take you guys out for some local surf fishing in my neck of the woods.
Time your trip with a good morning low and things could be good that time of year for corbina. Same goes for spotfin in SD.
