    Default Bay Area Reservoirs?

Hello everyone. Im headed out to the east bay for a family gathering and there is a reservoir that I spin fished as a kid at often called San Pablo reservoir. Went out there last month with some wooly buggers, midges, and didn't get a bite. Bait dunkers say the bite is excellent now with all the recent plants there. Thinking about trying at it again. Will be casting from a row boat. Saw lots of rises but couldn't see what they were grabbing.

Any suggestions for this area? Thanks.

I fished the lake quite a bit as a kid but never with a fly rod. I always wanted to try it but haven't had the chance.

Recent fishing reports have both the San Pablo and Lafyaette Reservoirs lighting it up for trout...Bass activity is heating up. At the Lafayette Reservoir the South and East ends are producing big ones!

Maybe post this question on Dan Blanton's message board and the 'NCFFB".

Sometimes you just need to move around these lakes till you find a concentration of fish.
