Coming this weekend

To the Sacramento ISE. Splash Dogs.

I took time out to watch these dogs jump. Well, some jumped and some didn't want anything to do with the cold water. I shot 300 shots of different dogs and splashes.

Hopefully it will be warmer for them this weekend.

Reminds me of my granfathers old female lab.
She used to jump off the river bank to retrieve our ducks.Didn't matter how cold or hot it was,soon as the gun went off she'd hit the water(whether we missed or hit she didn't care).
She's gone now and we have trained another, but a new pup is never as good as the old dog....

Looks like the diver/dog needs one of those leather pilots caps with goggles and an Ascot.... (....And a wet suit )

Some dogs did have wet suits or I guess what they call an insulated vest.
It was amazing to see these dogs jump 22' to 24'.
There were german shepards, big poodles and one beagle.
