I had a good time BSing with many old friends yesterday.

I didn't even get all the way through the show because I talked so long to some.

I guess the show isn't what it use to be but I still enjoy seeing people I might otherwise not.

Lots of good seminars by good folks including old Dave Whitlock.

LOts of good fly tiers there as well.

Lots of lodges are there.

I do remember back in the '70s when the shows started that it was lots more fly fishing with dozens of big time fly fishing celebrities there too.

I also enjoyed seeing friends and Tony Yap gave a very entertaining presentation. I wonder why it was so small this year though. Are all the fly fishing booths going to the Pleasanton show?
