send them back to redington for repairs. Their socks were a well known defect in their waders prior to the sonic pro's coming out.
that is why i fish with my lab. If some guy lowholes me i just start hurling his tennis ball right on top of his line. (just kidding)
i presently own a Sotar IK a 11 ft sotar legend and all my fishing is done out of a 16 ft Aire Jaguarundi. I paddle all the time winter spring summer. There is always something running in Oregon....
I really like my sage boat bag. It keeps my stuff dry in the OP down pours.
IMHO pit five fishes the best.
The first July boating releases on the north fork feather out the isonychia mayflies not to mention the catastophic drift to the foothill yelow legged frogs on the feather. There are several...
Better rethink your dates. There are boating releases for those dates.

now that the whitewater river rapers got their way how long will it be before this rivers amazing trout fishery...
alot of work is being done on the Deschutes to reestablish fish runs above the dams. Maybe this could be tried on rivers like the feather or American.

More water= more traveling lanes open up .
I would have no problem fishing the trinity at those flows. 1000 to 1200 are optimum flows for swinging imho.
The North Umpqua is a fishless ditch. LOL At least it was for me two weekends ago.
Isn't it funny that there is money to pay for whitewater parks but not fish passage when a dam is reliscenced.http://www.orovillemr.com/rss/ci_21100366?source=rss
I disagree what a sad sight. We have been reduced to seeing Salmon like zoo animals in a hatchery. I wish NOAA would grow some Balls and make them build fish passage on all the dams on feather and...
The rivers in WA and Oregon in december are 10 to 15 degrees colder than they are in California. I have literally had to break ice to get to the rivers. Never happens in CA.
first week of Jan Hoh...
Here's my 2 cents. If it was me and the only time I had to fish was the week in Question. I would either go to christmas island or New Zealand and fish for trout. That time of year here in the...
Rick
Are you heading to the North Umpqua this year?
Since you guys hijacked this thread. my quote by Bern Shanks who was the former wdfw director and Bio he said that in the context of reforming hatchery practices. People get up in arms everytime...

Fish for the trout that are sipping caddis and little yellow stones or swing a green butt skunk through this tail...
Any fly you toss for springers better be in the shape of a tuna ball. They will be in the deep holes and swinging a spey fly for them won't be productive. However there should be some summers around...
you are right. I have been to the Dean and it is an Amazing place. Didn't know stewarts lodge changed hands and its name. On a side note some guys I know caught chums above the canyon on a high...
Odd year big pink salmon run. It will be hard to find steel with all those little rats around.
The fall on the Olympic peninsula is mostly a salmon game. Not very many summer steelhead around. Focus on the columbia tribs on both the Orygun and Washington side of the river also there are some...
