OK, I'm going to give it up...I did fish Frenchman this past Sunday. Arrived reasonable early and fished from the Frenchman boat launch to the Spring Creek Campground and lit it up with two subtle...
Gene...your best catch is sittin' in that chair! Great photos BTW.

That sure is a small rod and reel!

Yes...get 'em with Velcro, they're much easier to close when you've added those extra socks to keep your feet warm...quicker and easier than having zippers. I've had Glacier Gloves, Hogeman and now...
Keep posting terrific items like this. I absolutely love Lake Davis, fish it regularly and thoroughly enjoyed your slideshow and accompanying music...nice touch Randy!

Great shots Shig! Beautiful fish. Did you ride in? Anyone else there? Hope to see you again soon.

Sam...either listen to Shig (this guy is WELL informed), or pull the trigger on the Scadden. Either way, you'll be happy...both crafts are quality and owners of each generally like 'em.

Scott...save your gas, time and money, Topaz (if you were considering it) isn't worth the effort (IMNSHO). I've fished it a few times, and don't plan on going back...there are too many other lakes...
Use 6X tippet and strike really hard. Don't let them have their head and strip them in quickly.
Or use spinning gear.

You're lucky...I haven't talked with my wife in two weeks...I'm afraid to interrupt her! I told her I was going to fish this Saturday...she said "You fished last Saturday". I said, "Geez...
For me, it's 1) Pontoon, 2) Electric motor, 3) Fins...I can turn on a dime, go forward or backward, anchor when desired, steer with my feet (fins) going either forward or backward & never have to...
Hey Rockman...terrific photographs! Your report for the most part mirrors ours from Saturday @ Fairview. Those are some hot fish to say the least...thanks for sharing.

Enjoyable film, IMNSHO, a little overdone with the casting at the end...place the fly man, you won't catch anything in the air. Excellent photography. There's a link to another film...save yourself...
Sucks. He was a giving, talented man. Thank you Harry, for so much you've never known. Charlie, you too are an inspiration. The internet has benefited so many of us in so many ways.

Enjoyed your report. Wish you'd had a better experience, but you captured the "hey, look, there's Pyramid Lake" coming over the rise. I still remember my first time...1968, spring time, beach...
Like Mike O. I too started with gluttony, wrath raised its ugly head sometime after (I still have issues with road rage), and lately, even at my advanced age, lust has become a struggle I give in to...
"I have never had a fish hit the first nymph and I am wondering how many people see this as effective."
How do you know you've never had a hit on the dropper, or on either fly for that matter? I...
I've been using #14 & #16 buggers for some time. I like 'em a lot...obviously, it depends on the stillwater situation & what I'm reading, but you bet, they can be killer flies.

Most of them use the bathrooms on site.

Too bad those pictures are rotated...I got a kink in my neck and the money I was going to spend on this chair now goes to the chiropractor.

Slow at best.

You'll like him!

Copepods are disgusting to look at and a shame they have to infest one of Gods most beautiful creatures, the Rainbow Trout. I haven't fished Lake Davis in the past few years since the infestation...
Am I missing something?...I didn't see a price anywhere!
