My buddy flaked out on me (Something about doin taxes, as if thats more important than striper fishin) and I didn't want to go it alone. So we cancled for this week....

Well, I guess there not much Knowledge about this area, Or, It's so Good, It's hush, hush... :D

Anyway...I hope to have something to report after Tuesday.

This will be my second attempt going out of Paradise Point. The reason is, it's one of ONLY 6 places you can rent a boat on the delta, and it's the nearest to me....(Oh....and it's cheeper :D )

Hearing how cold the delta is and lethargic the stripers are, I was wondering about San Luis Res.

Knowing it gets it's water from the delta, does it warm up a little by the time it gets down...

This little guy didn't seen to mind my presence too much. He was only a few feet away, while I was fishing at Don Pedro.

When I took the boat out Friday to check it out, after 10 months on letting it sit, I almost fried the motor. The impeller needs replacing, wasn't pumping water. So that killed the fishing trip.

A pontoon with all that (except the motor but oars instead) worked good for me last week... With a 4 foot tide to boot !!! I did wish I had a trolling motor though ...!!!

What area were you in??

Yea, It's tough floating the Delta.... You would hope for a small tide wouldn't you??

I have 30 feet of LC13 with a 30lb running line = Shooting head system. And about 3 feet of 15b lb leader, I hear Stripers...
