Went out with him once and he showed me the ropes for steelhead fishing. Super cool guy, would 100% recommend him as a guide!

In my experience, the Meadow Vista park has a very small amount of fish other than when they stock. Haven't checked out the others though.

Just cause he caught them on bait doesn't mean he's not a competent fisherman, or that the fish aren't there...
