I had the exact same problem. I found very thin "water slippers" for lack of a better term, at K-mart..thin sole, mesh top, slipper design with heel,,$12.99

Just used them this weekend and they...

well,,you type fast..took me maybe 3 minutes, but I only had one weekend to enter..:D

I just rub the furrals (sp?) at the junction of my nose to my face. A bit nose oil works great, and you never run out.
