Today I shot video of a huge sea lion at Harrington following up possibly a school.. he was in the correct slot and stayed down most the time.

I'm glad I grew up when I did where I did and enjoyed a truly fantastic striper fishery in Lake Mendocino in the 1970s and 1980s.

Was a tough day on the lower river as well for us.
The water sure seemed warmer today and the flows looked lower but I didn't see any change in my FishHead app.

like previously mentioned, the river is long and the Shad are everywhere.

Do some walking, get on the water earlier, or just drive 2 miles up or down and find some more fish.
