It dried up to almost nothing a few years ago.. There still might be some blue gill in there. Try not to get attacked by the over populated geese on the water.

I was up there about a week and a half ago and it was blown, with super high flows. It should have went down a little since then.

I just try to avoid rivers that have active spawning fish, I can't out weigh the good over the bad. Like with Putah I stop fishing it at the end of November, and don't come back tell early March....

What you were seeing were spawners. This is the time of year when the rainbows start spawning up on the Yuba. Keep an eye out for redds and wade cautiously.

Also watch where you step durring the winter season. The creek is so small durring the winter, the redds can be over looked and walked through by accident. So be carefull.
