This 4-piece, 96 XP is rated for a #6 line but begs to be loaded with a #7. It is a great rod for the steelhead fisherman.
Overall, it is in excellent condition. There are a couple of scuff...
StevenB is the authority on that. Send him a PM.
Thanks, Lance. I sent you a PM.
The venerable essentials bag for the minimalist who travels light. Woodriver is no longer in business. These bags are hard to come by. Originally made in the USA with a fleece patch and fleece...
Might that river be the Williamson? My brother and I drifted it with Chuck Storey on Saturday. His full-day rate is $475 and worth every penny of it. We started in the early afternoon (because of a...

Got it. And I replied. Thanks.
8 Outcast Stealth Pro frameless pontoon boat with upgraded Sawyer 5.5 Dynel-wrapped SST oars. The SST oars are vastly superior to the original aluminum oars (which will be included). The boat has...
This is sort of a long shot, but I'll throw it out, anyway. Does anyone have a spare spool for a Ross Gunnison G2 reel that he or she would like to sell? It would have to be pre-1998. Thanks.
I sent you a PM.
Fishing Zug Bugs on a sinking line used to be effective when the PMD hatch was sparse or absent. I haven't fished a Zug Bug in years. Always go to a leech when conditions warrant. Not surprised to...
The pontoons may be a different color, but in all other respects, this is the Outcast Fish Cat 9-IR and is warranted by Outcast. The only difference between the two is the price. And its huge. You...

This rod was custom-built for me back in the eighties using a Scott G906 blank. It is a two-piece, six-weight rod with the internal ferrule and un-sanded graphite blank that Scott is known for.

Thanks, Mr. T. Next time you text him, please let him know that I sent him a PM.
Has anyone heard from Oceansunfish recently? Is he still a member of this forum? We were exchanging Private Messages a few months back, and then he sort of dropped out of the picture.
I have heard the same from others.
The XP is arguably one of the best rods that Sage ever made. I have the XP 390-2, XP 690-2, and I am still looking for that elusive 590-2.
$275.00/OBO is a bargain price for a 7-weight XP rod.
Thanks for passing along this information, Bill. I left a comment on the legacy website, and I will leave one here, as well.
I had the good fortune to fish with Peter a few times. He was a...
