Great deal on a great boat. 17 foot aluminum hull Crestliner converted to a Center Console. Boat has 2002 30 hp Mercury with a hydraulic lift for skinny water. Also added a 2008 Motorguide 55 lb....

1 shad caught last night on the lower A, on a clouser type fly. They ARE still here?!?! The striper fishing was good too.

What? Shad fishing is still good in the lower river. The tough question is whether to fish stripers or shad as both are fishing well.

I don't fish for shad with any consistency. I normally catch a couple a year, and lose interest when I see lines of people all fishing the same run.
