It could be worse. The Deschutes is not closed for most of it's length, the Crooked is open, the Metolius is open, and the McKenzie is open. We're having cooler weather this week, the Met is a...
Agreed 110%, need to get smart quick.
Sometimes they do that if there's a stonefly hatch. Was it a yarn indicator, and what time of year. The Crooked has Skwalas in March & April.

At least one fly-fisher got hit by a rattler on the Crooked last summer as he was stepping onto the bank. Give the grass a poke with your staff before stepping out of the any of the central OR...

CWC, the Amazon link was put up by Amato Publications. I felt we needed to move a little faster on printing the book, partly to have it ready for the FFF Fair in Bend.
So I'm publishing the book...

Book would be perfect for you. Don't mean to hard sell, but it's got the info someone unfamiliar with the area can use.
Also, I started this book more than a year ago, as something else, and it...

I spoke to Gary and tried to tell him the e-mail form doesn't work, and that the e-mail link didn't either. I don't think it's supposed to be @www.
If so, stop by the FFF booth when I'm signing my new book, Redband Trout Waters: A Fly-Fishing Road Trip to the Crooked, Deschutes & Metolius Rivers.
