I took this photo of my pup Axel while fishing on the Green River last month. I thought it was too nice to keep to myself.

holy cow - he actually has 3 volumes of Bloopers. Just looked them up on Amazon
Great looking flies guys. They're all gonna catch something. I like the Dingbat, it gives me an idea for doing a "corn" fly for carp (and maybe some ducks) Thanks a lot Lil Striper on...
Thanks, that glow in the dark cord looks pretty good for night fishing around lighted docks at night
I second Thom, a fly pattern database section would be cool. Brian
Jay, you said the body was macrame yarn. What brand macrame yarn glows in the dark?
Darian, I get ribbed about the California connection all the time.

I do fish at night and find that black (or dark) streamers will catch me more fish than lighter colored flies. As for night fishing I just love the hit when I can't see anything. It's exciting when...
At least you had a name, the lady at the post office had to giggle when she saw that I was mailing a package to someone named "Little Striper"
I checked out my cast at the show and was pleasantly surprised that my only faults were slight movement after the stops on my forward and backward casts. That pickup detects the slightest movement.
 That is just crazy, nice pictures
I didn't participate in this swap, but wow  ! those flies are killer. Steve, I really enjoyed your narratives and your knowledege of fly pattern history.
Ben-Doc contact the Davis Fly Fishers http://www.dcn.davis.ca.us/go/ffd/, (contact the webmaster John) they have a trip scheduled twice a year to go up to Payne ranch where there are 4 ponds loaded...
Thanks, the legs are a trick that the Georgia guide showed me. White rubber legs twisted and then a permanent marker is run down the side of it. release the twist and voila! It's a pretty neat...
I'm done!, I can't believe that I got them done in one day. I'm such a slow tyer. time to watch the rest of the Kings game.

Darian, I have tied 2 dozen flies using Knot Sense instead of epoxy and was wondering myself how much I can get out of a tube. Gordon from Anglers Roost in Ft Collins, CO tells me that he can get...
No one mentioned Loon UV Knot Sense so I will. I've been using it make my heads on saltwater flies, it cures ultra fast with the high power Loon UV light and is definatly less messy. When I'm done...
sign me in for some foamy things, not sure what they are called as I'm using an example given to me by a guide in Georgia. I'll just call them "Foamy Bass Foodstuff"
Brian
Awsome Bill, makes me want to book a flight south for some of that. Do you know if that video part of a larger show or just a short?

Check out this fly that I came across browsing my other board, a head on head humpy. Pretty slick looking

I remember an article in some magazine last year about a guy that went over to Germany on business and wanted to do some fly fishing. de described how hard it was to obtain a license until he met...
I'm with the majority. I use my flies for examples and display. The flies I recieved from the saltwater swap are way too nice to use on fish.
Jeff, thanks for the instruction that I got from you. Since I have moved to Wyoming I have missed "practice" on the American and have gotten a bit rusty. I hope to recapture the lessons that I have...
