Fished the truckee today. It was cold and wet/snow. Got one it was a good day. They were rising all day. A small hatch of blue wings were around... At least that is what they looked like.

What rod size and setup do you use to fish the saltwater? I have thought about going but don't know a thing about the recommended gear.

I think the shadow box is a great idea. I have a cool picture of my gramps with my uncle fishing the truckee river around '55. That would look real good next to the flys.
