Fished Sailor Bar to Rossmoor on Monday. Landed an 18", lost a smaller half pounder and a nice adult. Wow, that wind was something, kept blowing me upstream. Had to push my way downstream all day...
Not cheap is a slight understatement :) But very good and fun atmosphere.

Looking for a good Spey casting instructor in the San Jose are. Someone who would instruct at the Campbell ponds.

Talked to Simon G. (Rio) at the Golden Gate Rio Day last Saturday. Asked about the new "game changer" head. We talked about depth of swing and such. He says that he always uses a floating line...

Was there today. Clear and getting higher - they raised it 150CFS over the last two days.
I was fished it years ago. Beautiful little stream. Also heard the boat access was very limited and a bit confrontational. Gino told me they drop in across some debated properry.
Ok note to self. Don't take boat on the Truckee. Nevertheless wooden self bailing boats are the boat of choice for the biggest of whitewater like the Grand canyon.
Chad btw just listened to you podcast the other day. Great job. Look forward to many more.
Thanks can't wait to get my boat out.
Anyone know of a shuttle for the Lower Yuba?
thanks
