I’m heading up tomorrow Wednesday.
nope, just that is the depth I have caught fish at. I almost always use an intermediate and type 3 lime when Stillwater fishing, especially for trout.
I never go to Kirman with an intermediate and type 3.
I usually get there before 7. But looks like the winds will be howling, that plus a full moon. Guess I will wait til next week. I am retiring today so I can fish any time from now on!!
Yeah, that is what I was thinking last night when hanging in the backyard. My wife wasn't sure why I was getting upset, then I mentioned the moon and she understood.
Anyone ever have any luck fishing Hennan on opening day? I've never done, I usually wait til October, I am thinking about going up on Friday.
I haven't had an issue with the site in a long time, both via computer and phone.
Sold, thanks everyone
Price lowered.
Yes it is still available
I have a Super Cat for sale for $150. New side bag and backrest bag. Pump included. I do not have the shoulder straps, never got them when I bought it. Need to cut down the fleet.
I have caught monsters at Rucker's on top water. But usually smaller weird bass/sunfish hybrids. There is a place to launch from near the camp area.
Looks like Camanche, north shore. I catch carp at Camanche almost on a regular basis.
Size 8 black wiggle tail. I've caught largemouth up to 8 pounds on it. It is my go to fly for stillwater for any and all fish. There isn't a fish species I have not caught on that one fly. I fish...
Nothing will ever beat the float tubes Shig made. Both tubes and fins weight in at less than 2 pounds.
People call it mismanagement because they have no idea what they are talking about. They think they know better, but don't even work in the industry.
The mountain bike ride out is awesome if you have full suspension. I think I made it back in about 10 minutes. I've got a time lapse somewhere of the run, I'll post it if I can find it.
I just got back from fishing the Amazon with Bucket List Fly Fishing who also moves their floating camp sites to different parts of the river while you fish. I can not recommend Rob and Bucket List...
Not sure I would say spookiest, but fly shy for sure. I've had them swim around and between my legs many times, but getting them to bite was the hard part.
nope, and would never use one especially at $1,000. I have about a dozen buddies that use them. I only use my fish finder to know the depth. If I don't catch fish, oh well. I'd rather be skunked...
Why even fish if you are staring at a screen watching your lure or fly get taken by fish. Main reason I don't like indicators, boring as hell waiting for something to go under. I know guys that use...
That fish is in Nevada! duh
That might have been me at Kirman. My twitches are only about 2 to 3 inches. Just a twitch of the wrist is all it is, then I pull a little bit of line in. Some were wanting the line stripped in...
I use to have bad days there til Gene figured out the titch retrieve. I have yet to have a bad day there now. Seriously, it turned around my catch rate by a LOT!
