The pics look great.

This event went as good or better than any events I've fished over the years. Very organized and friendly. Looking forward to the next one and I'm sure you'll have even more teams than this one. ...
This sounds like every valley river in the state.
That place is gorgeous right now. You can find shallow fish well into summer there especially when it is full like now.
Love the pictures
Is it $220 or $250 day of the event? Website is a little confusing?
Excellent Idea! I am in. Was up there yesterday and that place is about to explode. Weather permitting it should shape up really well for flyfishing end of April. Is it OK to fish solo? Highly...
Perhaps they were for Kokanee smolts?
Bumped through another video that showed several negatives in the way the removals have been handled. They seemed to think the sediment will be a problem for a long time because it was all sent...
That rod would be excellent for float n fly...
That sounds good. I've seen some recent drone footage on YouTube of the river running through the dams. Cool to watch. Hopefully we have decent runoff for awhile to flush things out. I couldn't...
That's what I'm hoping.
That's discouraging. I guess I should be glad a got to fish it a few times before all this. So what do all the scientists say about a return to normalcy? Years? Decades?
Basing a trip on a topwater bite is far too narrow in focus and you'll be setting yourself up for disappointment. If it happens it will be a bonus. I bet a 12 year old kid these days would love...
Oroville or Melones in the spring.

I have one listed at the bottom of the page. Echo TR 11'3" 4wt
Maybe 3 hrs or so. 5 or 6 lessons form 30 to 60 pages each. Each page has a 24 second timer before you can go on to the next. I mostly skimmed though stuff. There's a 10 question quiz at the end...
I agree Bill. I automatically resist anything the State has their hand in but I figured it couldn't hurt to do it.
That's a reasonable approach by the deputy.
The card is $10. The cheapest course I found was Boat US which was free. They do ask for a donation.
Has anyone here been asked to present this card to a Peace Officer during a contact while operating a vessel?
Great condition with case. $100 picked up in San Joaquin county.

Would even consider interesting trades for this one. Maybe a decent 5wt. Either 1 handed or a switch rod...
The Airflo Rage line was definitely my favorite. I started with a Switch Chucker that I bought with it.
I'll throw in a running line if someone buys the whole package.
Great for the Halfpounders. Great condition.
$200
Also have two heads that work well on it. A 360 grain Airflo Rage Compact Float and a Rio 375 grain Skagit Max Short. $50 for both.
$250 for...
Time to start getting rid of stuff. I used this rod once or twice for shad two seasons ago. I'll take $200 for the rod and the head. Pick up in or near San Joaquin county.

Bill, I don't think a boat is absolutely necessary in this case. A kayak would work or even a float tube. I'm sure there's fish everywhere and definitely close to the ramps.
