Was just at Hosmer last week. Fishing good but need to let you know they are no longer putting Atlantics in there. Cutties now. Crooked was fishing great as well.

Crooked river is a lot of fun. Nothing huge but dry fly opportunities.
If your puling out the colder water out from the bottom wouldnt that raise the temperature of the lake water overall and what implications would that have? No idea.....just thinking

Kennedy and Clarks fork still a tad high. Maybe OK for planters but small wild dry fly not there yet. Same with south fork stan

I think the small fish dont need as much to survive and therfore can go into hibernation mode in the colder water better than the big fish which have to keep eating to support themselves??? Big guess
Runoff might be a problem during that time. The Thompson is a great river near Estes as well.
