There is a guy that was offering it awhile back, he lives right at the bridge. Do a search for his contact info here, it should pop up.
Just the info I was looking for. Thank you, Jason
Good luck, wish I was heading up that way. What part of the pit are ya gonna fish? Jason
We fished the upper section and down in the meadows downstream of the campground for one fish. Last summer had a great numbers day between here and butt creek. Not this weekend though, ill try again...
Had a great camping trip(other than forgeting the propane tree and having to cook everything off the fire). Saw a bunch of deer, a beautiful cimn. bear, and a few turkeys. The fishing was in a single...
Wish I could help...have yet to fish in that area. If you have the time to head a little south, I have been hearing great reports coming out of the east walker. Good luck, Jason
Thank you....now off to tie some up. Black caddis never crossed my mind. Thanks again, Jason
Well I'm heading up there tonight for the weekend and was wondering if anyone has any ideas on what would be the hatch to match. I've got some free time to do a little tying and I'm fresh out of...
Has anyone tried one yet? I'm sure they are great rods for nymphing but I'm curious how'd they would be at swinging soft hackle with its "senstive tip".
I just started using them and love them so far. I'm tying my own (uni 6/0) at 5' long and have been playing around with a tippet length around 3-4 feet. If you try them and like them id would start...
My guess would be leaning towards poor visabilty. I might go check it out for an hour or two this weekend, if I go ill send out a report.
I'm guessing the wire is cutting your thread, you might want to try breaking the wire off by wiggling it back and fourth instead of cutting it
Its the oroville wildlife area, access to the low flow section is off 162. Look for the signs, if you hit the afterbay, you've gone to far.
Just checked the flows, wow its going up. I wonder why? There's no snow so they shouldn't be making room in the lake for run off. Oh well, have to find somewhere else to get my fix. Never fished the...
She is running alittle high for comfortable wading, and is still really off colored. Maybe saw a half dozen fish rise today, we fished hard from 8 am till 7:30 pm for 5 fish to the net for 2 rods. It...
Give me a p.m. with a contact number and ill let you in on a wadeable section of river that is fishable up to 9000 cfs safely, and its fishy.
Thanks guys, I didn't know if borax or salt would hurt the feathers. Id forgotten about glyco. When I was a kid we'd get in trouble for draining radiator fluid out of my dads jeep for snake skins....
I'm going to try and skin out a mallard and a couple of teal, maybe some quail too if i get out again before season closes. My question is, is there any special additive to preserve the skin, or do...
Check lee vining creek, I havnt been there for years but was a great little creek. Its a meadow creek that should be loaded with hoppers and ants, might also try were rock creek and the owens comes...
I'm very interested. I'm building the va hospitol in redding right now, but if you still have the rod in a couple weeks ill snatch it up from you
Looking for some help, would like to catch a salmon on the fly this year. Any gear recommendation? I was thinking maybe a 9 wght, would it crossover to a good striper rig? Don't want to spend a...
Mostly turned into a scouting trip, lots of people, but it was a holiday weekend. Saw a lot of pretty water, saw a naked chick sun bathing, and my buddy was able to get his new axis/tibor 5weight...
Thanks for the report, loading up the truck now
I've been working in redding and have been hitting every section of the hat the Mc cloud and have been watching the pitt almost daliy, but have not been on any of my local water. How's the north fork...
