The problem with sneaking off to go fishing

This is my goof. I didn't block out this afternoon as me not working, which means I am now scheduled for a 4:30 appt.I'm usually done at noon. AND LOOK AT THIS WEATHER it is perfect! Clouds,rain showers, turning cold. winter is wintering, steelies are heading and I was planning on the ole' standby " I think I'll go down to the river since you're going shopping".

Krud... its mistakes like this that make me think I should hint to my wife what I actually paid for some of my fly rods, just in case the unexpected happens. I mean don't get me wrong, I like most of my friends but not that much! I guess someone could actually say yea " a Galvan T-4 only $ 50.00 at a garage sale." It pains me to think about it. Ok that all I can complain about for now.
