Sugar, have a great birthday!
Joe had an amazing life here on earth....so far.
Born in 1922, same as my dad.
Lived through the Great Depression out on a small farm where he trapped small animals for their fur.
Was in the US Navy in World War II same as my dad.
Joe was a Sacramento City Fire Fighter for most of his life.
He painted houses and tied Shad flies for "spending money".
After the war Joe enjoyed the great fishing in Northern California in the 1950s.
In the 1970s Joe traveled to Oregon, Idaho, Montana and British Columbia.
In the 1980s Joe took groups to Alaska, Labrador, Nova Scotia, New Zealand, Christmas Island and the Bahamas.
Joe is still driving......he is an amazing person.
Happy Birthday Joe, a true gentleman you are!
Joe - You are one of those wonderful Sacramento institutions that I truly miss living here in Colorado...Happy Birthday! Best, Bob
