Fall is coming fast in Northern California so get ready.

I think we will have some real Fall weather by mid-October this year.

Night time temperatures are falling fast down into the 50s.



Stripers are coming into the Delta from the ocean and bays. Oct/Nov/Dec are big months.


Fall is prime time for many mid-elevation lakes like Davis, Frenchmans, Eagle and Pyramid.


Lots of large trout stream turn on in the Fall at mid-elevations.


Oct/Nov are good months for Fall Steelheading. Not too hot and not too cold...yet.

With COVID and Fires we need to be careful.

Hitting the Delta tonight after work. Decent incoming tide, hoping to find something double-digit but will take whatever it has to offer.
