Chuck is one of the best fly fishers that I know well.
He is one of the last of the Great Generation who got to fly fish when everything was better.
Chuck was also a serious hunter of ducks and pheasants in Nor Cal.

Its because of him that I now go by Charlie, couldn't have two Chuck's in the same shop. Used to enjoy catching up with him while I was running OneSpeed. Haven't seen him or Sugar in too many years.

Thanks for keeping us updated on both he and Joe, Bill! Chuck was never one to talk much about himself in the shop - but you could learn a lot about chasing steel if you asked him and then shut up and listened to the answer. Please wish him Happy Birthday for me!
