Yuba Lowest Ever

This afternoon I took a ride down to the Yuba City ramp just to see how low things are. It's LOW. Probably the lowest I've ever seen it. There are several new gravel islands right at the mouth and a lot of water barely a foot deep. It would be easy to wade from Mosquito Beach across the Feather and get to the Yuba without even getting your knees wet.

There was a Mexican funeral going on at the Yuba City dock with about 18-20 people throwing flowers and ashes into the water and saying good bye to whomever . At the end one gal got off the dock and stood in the water without getting her knees wet.

There was only one very small trailer in the lot. Anything more than a kayak will drag bottom, so use caution if you plan to go.
