PG&E to increase flows on the McCloud River.

PG&E says that due to snow melt and a maintenance outage occurring at James B. Black Powerhouse
flows on the McCloud will be increased to 1,000 to 1,200 CFS.

No info yet on when the increase will happen.

PG&E will be issuing a media release that will go out to the public via local media outlets such as KRCR news, Record Searchlight and Mt. Shasta Herald.

I will update this post when I get more info.

I hear Hat creek is fishing OK.


Reports are that the flow increase is scheduled to begin tonight (Monday May 15, 2023)
