East Walker Report

Hit the East Walker for a day and a half before getting sick and heading home. Fishing wasn't bad, got the gf into some fish including a nice brown for her 2nd day with a fly rod. No action on dries, caught fish nymphing although with the lower flows the plop of a thingamabobber seemed to put the fish off. Switching over to a small pinch on got us back into fish. The streamer bite was pretty consistent. The only downside was with the colder nights the moss is dying off and you're constantly having to clean your flies off. Overall a solid trip. This brown taped at just over 21"

nice update for the E Walker I was just looking at the Rosaschi Ranch Section since we are into fall now. The E Walker is an excellent fishery.

YOu didnt get a photo of all the angles...haahha! NIce catch and way to get that keeper(gf), hooked on fly fishing.

You should submit that pic to the Moldy Chum for Friday. With consent of course.

Wow, from all the responses you'd think some folks had never seen a pretty girl holding a big one before!?

Seriously though, sounds like a fun trip. Thats great she's catching some nice fish right off the bat like that... I sure didn't.
