How are the shad numbers on the Yuba upstream from the Feather and are there any problems with a jet drive on the Yuba moving upstream from the Marysville boat ramp? With the current flow, any problems with obstacles at the old bridge structure that caused boat damage a few years ago?
Word is it’s very low and skinny with extreme caution needed.
What he said. The lines to run up have changed. New hazards on both the feather and Yuba. Pretty dangerous if you aren't good at reading water and jet boat operation.
Once you get past the shallows and obstacles the shad are going crazy up there. Lots of guys getting shuttled by guides.Quote:
