Especially on the american. Most of the ones i have tied are in the 2.5 -3 inch range, some more sparse than others.

I don’t fish the American but my favorite sculpin pattern is a size 8 sculpzilla. Very versatile—can be fished tons of different ways, not a bear to cast, good action in the water, not too big for the smaller fish to be interested and still gets plenty of attention from the big boys.Quote:
