Aloha, just got my samples of the new Axiom II saltwater rods. They have recoil guides, so no corrosion problems. If they are as nice as the Axiom II rods I have been using I will be very happy. I got an 8wt and a 12wt. Hope to try them out this weekend on some bonefish and Mahi-mahi respectively. They have a nice blue color and are very light and crisp to cast. Mems.

Took the 8wt out, loved the action, very fast and the recoil guides are great, although a little small for an 8wt. I got a couple of barracuda and a big lady fish. I want to try it on a bonefish, but couldn't get one to eat. I will try the 12wt out next time I am offshore. Overall they are very nice rods and a little beefier than the Amiom II rods I have been using, but still incredibly ligth. The 8wt feels like a 6wt.
