Custom Stripping Baskets
As most of you know I build custom stripping baskets in several different shapes and colors for fishing out of a boat. Most guys like to add fly fishing stickers and decals to the outside and make it more personal.
Over the years Maury Hatch has been one of my best customers for these and I just had to share a couple of pictures of his latest purchase. Absolutely the coolest wraps I've seen and totally professional if you want to upgrade the look of your boat when you're out fishing.

These are the best stripping buckets in the free World.
I am excited because I bought a 16' center console fiberglass skiff and one or two of these sexy buckets will really be nice in it.
Thanks Tony......so cool.

Thanks for coming by Mike.
I'm glad I could help you with one of my "Custom Cut" baskets . Tall folks with long arms use the cut- out area the most to allow for more arm swing. Shorter people use the cut-out too for ease of getting stripped line into the basket. If you're average height the standard flat top baskets works fine.
Now get out there and put it to use. Stripers are in the delta and the bay.

Tony,
Does yours have a drain or can you keep some water in bottom of it?
-
Hi Tony,I always thought these were called LMD's? (Line Management Devices) whereas a stripping basket was something salt water flats waders used?
-
You can call them anything you like,,,,, bucket,,, basket,,,, LMD. Whatever you like works to better control your line in your boat.
I've never found the need for adding water to the bucket unless it's for cooling or lubricating the line. Yes, the buckets do hold water if you want to use water.
Thanks for all the support guys,
Tony
