I thought last weekend was going to be my farewell trip to the Pit. However, I had a great trip, didn't catch poison oak and the wife said head back up and enjoy.
I'll be leaving Dixon after work on Friday so probably 5ish or so. I'm open to camping Saturday night and fishing Sunday morning as well or just make a day trip out of it. Driving a Honda Fit this trip with an open seat.
I know it's short notice. The above trip did not pan out, but I'm looking to head up either this Friday or Saturday (prefer Friday) for a day trip. With weather conditions, I'm driving my Jeep. It's slow but has an open seat, free gas and doesn't care about snow or crappy roads.
Mickey, I can't go, but will you please post a report in the Trout Section here. I'd love to know how the river is fishing mid-winter.
