On the top photo , I sure hope that is an "oval" cast - if it's an overhead cast , it looks like a tailing loop . Having said that , I had a chance to see Jeff P. cast at the Expo a few years ago . In my opinion , the BEST caster I've ever seen - what he can do w/ a 5 wt. and floating line makes me want to hide in shame in the basement . D.J.L. :oops:
Jeff's loop is off to the side making the loop look like it will tail.
