WTB: Ed Haas steelhead flies are very special.....

............and were tied on a custom Sealey hook from England.

Ed had them made special for his flies and they were heavy wire, limerick bend, down reversed eye.

I just received an email for a guy who is looking for some of those Ed Haas hooks.

I hope this is the correct email, I was searching around and found an old post of yours mentioning that a friend of yours went up to Ed’s cabin after he died in the 80s, trying to acquire his fly tying stuff.

Anyway, after recently buying a few of Ed’s original ties, I found a few of the Sealey hooks he used as well, but I’m looking for more. Both the bronze and black-jappaned down-eye return-loop.

If you have any you’d like to sell or know where I should look, I’d be very interested.
