We love the Rancho Seco Recreational Area...........

We went to Rancho Seco Recreation area this week with our little motor home.

Bass are spawning and planted trout are biting.

The had a fishing derby last week..............winner won a boat on a trailer and the fish was 9# Rainbow trout.

Lake record Florida strain LMB is 19#

April/May is just beautiful out there....only 31 miles south on Hwy 99 from Kiene's Fly Shop.

You need to drive out there and check it out.......

RV camping and tent camping..........picnic tables, barque pits.

Boat rentals.....kayaks, SUP, peddle boats, and 14' aluminum with electric motors ($60/day).

Well stocked store....

Boat launch....electric motors only.

Clear water supplied from Folsom Lake.

Modern bathrooms, showers, laundry....


Spring, summer and fall for Bass & Panfish

Fall, winter and spring for large planted Rainbow trout.
