Mokelumne River Outfitters is Closing

Dear Friends,

Due to several physical impairments that will keep me from rowing and casting for a while, I sadly am forced to shut down Mokelumne River Outfitters until further notice. My condition has progressed to the point where it would be foolish and dangerous to continue guiding my clients.

Those of you who have paid deposits for trips will be contacted for refunds. For those of you who still want to fish the Mokelumne, I have Chris Gearhart of Bent Rod Fly Fishing ready to pick up where I’m leaving off. Chris is strictly fly fishing and knows the Mokelumne well.

I hope this situation to be a temporary set-back and my goal is to get back to the good shape I used to be in through physical therapy and pain management. I plan to continue my conservation efforts and continue as a steward of the river.
