I fished TCL maybe 20 years ago...actually over a 30 year period I fished almost every flats lodge on the coast of Belize.

Tarpon Cay Lodge is a very serious fly fishing destination. I would not take a the wife there unless she love the rugged life style.


Mostly couples go to Belize and have a wonderful time of snorkeling or scuba diving, some fishing, and touring ancient sites.


Off shore past the famous barrier reef are 3 major atolls: Turneffe, Lighthouse and Glovers.

The atolls all have fishing/diving lodges on them of various levels.

The people and the food are both very nice.
