The Clearwater Trout Tours is changing some.

Clearwater has changed hands. It was bought by the owner of nearby Pit River Lodge this past winter. The whole operation will be moved to Pit River Lodge and the name of the new operation will be Clearwater Lodge on the Pit River . Dick Galland, the former owner of Clearwater, will be managing the new operation for the upcoming season. Clearwater Lodge is located right in between Burney and Fall River Mills, so the drive time from Redding is the same. The Lodge has walk-to fishing on the Pit River. Drive times to Pit 3 and the McCloud are about the same as before, and Fall River is now only 10-15 minutes away. The facility is a major upgrade. There is much more capacity, and the rooms are much more spacious. As always, there will be great food and great guides.
