Getting into two handed fly fishing around Sacramento.......

We are so lucky to have the Lower American River run right through town.

We are also very lucky to have 3 top two handed instructors here too.

Jeff Putnam, Andy Guibord and Doug Duncan are all top two handed anglers.

Having one of them help you from the get go is a great way to go.


I would meet with them and have them help you pick the right size of your first two handed outfit.

Then having them pick the right reel and lines for it is so important.

Then you get out with them any time of the year to learn how to cast and fish two handed.

Haven't used Jeff as a guide, but did talk to him via phone about some "tips" that i bought. He had me send them back
and tied on loop connectors with no charge. I do have several of his DVD's that are excellent. Top notch guy.
