Has anyone fished the russian river lately? Mainly up north? Or how about towards the river mouths? I hear they are getting the first striper run in over 20 years.
My old stomping grounds are the north end towards asti/cloverdale. Smallie action should be pickin up as well.
i was there a few weeks ago. started out at steelhead park.. nothing.. moved down to sunset park or somethin like that.. hooked up with a smallmouth.. moved down to the town past guerneville.. neae the theatre.. saw some steel... didnt hook up though... no shad either.
